Under 2's
Assessment, advice and intensive treatment blocks for babies and toddlers with developmental concerns. Unique kids Therapy has experience working with pre-term babies and can include formal tests as part of the assessment if needed, for example HINE (Hammersmith Infant Neurological Examination).
Young children
Assessment, advice and intensive treatment blocks for young children who are struggling to meet milestones or who already have a diagnosis. Common issues involving balance, sensory issues, neurodiversity, low or high tone, hypermobile or tight joints, walking issues, crawling/bottom shuffling.
Disability or Unique-ability!!
Small or big, teen or an adult with disability...everyone is unique. Unique kids Therapy specialises in assisting people with complex needs. Creating a plan and goals that are tailored to you and your child or young person. We can also provide advice around wheelchair seating/lying/24hour postural management. NB: We are unable to prescribe equipment through Enable or ACC.
Walking/Gait
Unique kids Therapy has a special interest in all things walking!!!! In-toeing, out-toeing, toe walking, bow legs and all things in between.
Also promoting mobility in children with a diagnosis of cerebral palsy or other neurological disorders/ syndromes. Using a combination of video gait analysis and a hands-on assessment; a tailored treatment plan can be created for improving the walking of your child.
Musculoskeletal pain/growing pains/fractures or sports injury
Unique kids Therapy offers a gentle hands-on approach for children recovering from injuries, growing pains or with a musculoskeletal issue.

Unique kids Therapy is now an ACC registered clinic for injury related claims. Please note a surcharge of $35 is charged per appointment for ACC injuries.
Adult or young person with any disability.
Unique kids Therapy (despite the name) is now offering injury treatment for anyone with special needs or a disability. With a unique understanding of the differences spasticity and tone and muscle make up of a person with a physical disability.
We can provide advice and treatment to promote mobility and prevent injury, and injury treatment.
